Continuing Education for Yoga Teachers
Whether you are registered with the Yoga Alliance or not, certified or not, continuing your education in teacher training is a sound investment. Education helps keep your teaching fresh and fun and will make you more competitive in the market today.
If you are registered with the Yoga Alliance, you need to complete 30 hours of continuing education every three years. Of the 30 hours, 10 need to be contact. The courses need to be specifically for yoga teachers and they need to be taught by an E-RYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher).
Laura Erdman-Luntz founded and directed the Center for Healthy Living for 7 years. She has over 7000 hours teaching hours and has taught 65 teachers how to teach yoga. She is an E-RYT at the 500-hour level through the Yoga Alliance which means her experience meets their top standards. Although the Center has closed, she is continuing her work to help raise the bar on yoga teachers’ educations; to give the profession the integrity it deserves.
Join Laura for monthly workshops that apply toward your continuing education. They are held in person at the Chanhassen Recreation Center and over the phone as teleclasses. You can also join the Teacher’s Enewsletter for monthly inspiration and tips. The enewsletter will also contain updates on upcoming workshops
